Located at/ 214 Mulberry St. In the heart of little Italy. Affix was established in 2002 primarily as a men's fashion label based in New York, New York. Affix was founded by Didier Q. DeMaer, known by those who know him to have a rare taste for fashion. Later, collaborated with his then wife, Maria J. DeMaer. Maria was born in Ohio, daughter of Polish immigrants. Maria studied Fashion Design at th

e Art Institute of Chicago where she Graduated as first in her class, she then moved to New York after her graduation for work, where she met her Beau, Didier DeMaer during a tour at Gugghenheim Museum. The couple soon moved in together in a small 2 bedrooms apartment at: 214 Mulberry Street corner of Spring Street in Little Italy, Manhattan. A few months later, the two got married on the grounds of Gramercy Park in New York City, their guests of honor made the wedding a glam show as in a reality TV, a mix with fashion photographers, fashion models, equally fashion designers from the house of Marc Jacobs and Betsey Johnson were among the designers. Maria designed for house hold name designers: Guess Marciano, Gemma Khan & Marc Jacobs. The young D. DeMaer is a businessman, an educator and a fashion design by training. Didier learned fashion design at a home school on Mulberry Street, to intensify his knowledge, Didier traveled to Europe to study fashion techniques from the best European Institutions, he built affix clothing company on old elegant design concept, brought to the present and made fresh for the young, fashionable and hip. Affix - Over the years has been a private label for ; Jazz musicians,rock stars, movies stars,socialites and others with a rare taste for fashion. Spring/Summer 2017, you'll see the latest designs for men,women and teenagers. Look for the little " ffi " emblem on every piece, so you know that you're wearing "affix".
