Prova Finito!!
Final stage of Bespoke fitting. Courtroom ready. The arguments might get heated, but he won't be π
We procure artwork. Our smiles during the final try on were priceless. His response? " I don't even want to touch the other suits I've purchased other places. This is now my only suit until we make more" ππ
Legit how I felt my 1st time trying Neapolitan tailoring
Thank you for trusting in me ππΎβ€οΈ
Same story, spend 10k+ on local "clothiers" who have no clue of the difference between custom or bespoke, lack passion/education, and all about the sale. And the clients end up with a closet of ill fitting suits lined to the gills with heavy, fused canvas and your dogs pic on the inside.
Yes I'm expensive, but for a reason- I don't compete locally, barely domestically. Much love and respect to RVA and the small businesses / creative communities fighting for what they believe in.
Regarding proper tailoring, accessories, sportswear, etc:
When your local guys can conduct ACTUAL bespoke fittings (most don't know the difference between the latter and custom), are translating 5-10 page fitting documents or 20pg tech packs into Italian, and sending their original artwork print-ready directly to their silk mills....then talk to me about competition. Oh and reaming out DHL from your hospital bed on how the currency exchange works and USD vs EUR fluctuates daily, just to get your garment cleared through customs.
Been running laps around TEAMS creatively... BY MYSELF for years....with VERY limited resources. Because I LOVE what I do. And couldn't walk away as much as I've wanted to so many times.
Yet moments like these still make the fight worth it.
