These two kimonos are made from a vintage chirimen silk crepe kimono. The kimono featured an all over-multicolored linear pattern that I have embellished with matching seed beads. The shorter one features feather cuffs while the longer one has in-seam pockets.

Inspired by my take on the Buddhist Wheel of life, this shorter "Wheels of Fortune" kimono hits right above the hip and is made from a vintage light-weight rinzu silk kimono. Featuring katazome and yuzen (resist dyeing techniques), it features threadwork and floral embroidery along the collar, a pink silk lining and in-seam pockets.
