The classic Parisian elegance and masterful drape of local fashion designers influenced him. Persy went on to collaborate with John Galliano & Christian Dior. He worked under Steven Robinson & Elisa Palomino ,John Galliano’s right hand at the time. Just a while
after ending the collaboration he took position as creative director for Apostrophe (Paris’ designing of prêt-à-porter exclusive line). Persy’s final stop was to Florence, Italy, where he began to collaborate with the house of Roberto Cavalli. Persy graduated “with excellence” from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Israel. Persy was awarded for “Modern Femininity” at the LCDA Awards and awarded as “Promising Young Israeli Designer” at the I.C.E Awards 2007. Persy’s LCDA award show in 2006 mapped out his signature. Those researched pieces, of net embroidered craftsmanship with classical sophistication and personal chic, created his signature style into recognition. With his designer skills and successful collaborations with leading international designers such as, Donna Karen, Lanvin - Albert Elbaz, Apostrophe, Roberto Cavalli, in 2009, Yaniv Persy finally established and launched his own label, Persy Ltd. The Studio continues to showcase collections known for sophisticated drama, High end feminine detailing and a modern approach to bridal design. In 2009, Persy's enthusiasm for couture fashion resulted in the launch of his highly acclaimed ready-to-wear collection.
