I learn to do basic knit and purl at Vogue Knitting Live. I made a pair of crocheted socks and wondered if knitted socks would be thinner. Since I didn't like the legs of the basic pattern, I am knitting patterns on straight needles, then switching to the round to close up the patterns to do flaps, gusset, etc. .5shoesize

A Raffia Summer

This summer is all about raffia for my one of a kind, one of a color hats, headbands, and fascinators. Crocheted accessories made of fiber yarns can be rather warm for summer. My first raffia was given to me by another vendor who suggested I use it to make hats. It’s hard to crochet with raffia but I found the better the raffia the easier the crochet construction.
