Henri Desplanques observed how the beauty of the Italian countryside transcended the natural splendor of its rolling hills, decorated by proud cypress trees. Beauty, in Tuscany, is an active tradition- a value intrinsic to the people who live there and the things they create.

We take great pride in the fact that each Norwegian Wool coat is produced by the craftsmen of this region, where the villas and villages are arranged as if their architects held “no other concern than beauty.” We see no one better entrusted to custom design a timeless, yet distinguished, herringbone fabric that renders the decision to wear an authentic down-filled coat a choice of stylistic refinement, rather than mere practicality.
