Tara Genniveve Scarves Handmade scarves and hats created by me! Made to order! My name is Tara. I began using her needles, and learning from the book "I Can't Believe I'm Crocheting."

I began crocheting at the age of 19 (after my grandmother died I taught myself how to crochet because that was her legacy and I did not want that to die with her within the family). First crocheting started off as a hobby for me, along with making Christmas/birthday gifts. Within the past 5 years it has turned into a 2nd job for me- once people started asking me to make them things, offering to pa

y for the yarn and for my time spent on doing so, it just started taking off from there and has continued ever since. My signature scarves are made of the softest, warmest yarn I have ever worked with. I also crochet hats (skull caps) sometimes as well. I just began experimenting making a different kind of scarf (trial and error, as I create most things by eye). I also crochet scarves using other types of yarn as well (mostly Patons, Lion Brand, Red Heart, Bernat, Caron). As far as hats go, I find that usually skull caps are in high demand.
