women would cover their heads and hats have never gone out of style. One of Michael’s greatest sources of inspiration was seeing his grandmother adorn her hats, even to prayer meetings. He knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that fashion would soon be a basic foundation in his life. Michael was fascinated by the way women in the church matched their outfits with their hats. In awe of the elegance these women displayed, Michael began researching his passion – creating hats. Michael gave it a try and has proven to be a nationally known and successful Milliner. His journey began when he started gluing the most brilliant stones, elegant fabrics, exotic feathers, and anything he could get in his hands to exercise his craft. With patience, much effort, and God's inspiration, his knowledge began to develop by leaps and bounds. Michael launched his business under the trade name “Michael A Designs”. It wasn’t long before Michael was giving advice to those considered to be his superiors on how to make hats. After paying his dues and earning his stature in the world of Millinery, Michael A. Brilliant stones, flowers, veilings, beads, pearls, feathers and trims are custom made for the client’s head. Michael has made over a thousand hats, and his hats are sold throughout the country in states to include New York, Baltimore, Washington, DC, South Carolina, Illinois, Georgia , California and many more. With spiritual covering, the Lord has blessed him do what he was called to do.
