After over 40 years of designing and producing knitwear collections, I have decided to step back to focus on life, family and friends, as well as new ventures from our cashmere production base in Inner Mongolia, China.
The Christopher Fischer brand was established in 1982 in London and Hawick in Scotland, and in 1990 we moved our head office to New York, when we also set up and established our production base in Inner Mongolia, China, the source of the world's finest pure white cashmere fiber.
We are closing our last store on Madison Avenue, New York this week, and I want to take this opportunity to thank and express my gratitude to all of our long standing and loyal customers in the Hamptons, New York, throughout the USA and globally, as well as all the Christopher Fischer Teams, as the support and appreciation over all these years has been a privilege and something I am most proud of.
We have always strived to produce modern wearable cashmere of the finest quality at exceptional value, and I hope you treasure your Christopher Fischer sweaters and that they become your favorites for many years to come.
