Below is the first pure silk sample (folded in half) from the mill - will be making some adjustments on the distance from the bottom stripe to the bottom of the Talet.

Thanks to a submission by a S&P follower, I believe this will be the corner design. Either blue on white or white on white.

Looking for your feedback - I'm contemplating using this design on the 4 corners/confot of the S&P Pure Silk Talet. It's a Chol which is the Hebrew name for the Phoenix bird. Unlike for Askenazi Jews who have the Star of David, Sefardic Jews from Portugal & Spain have the Chol/Phoenix who builds it's nest on a Palm Tree as a symbol of victory over the inquisition. The Chol/Phoenix is a bird that lives for a 1000 years, then dies & reincarnates from its ashes. So for Spanish & Portugese Jews it is a symbol of victory. PLEASE let me know your thoughts. I will either weave the corner in white on white or blue on white. AS WELL custom embroidered corners with any design you want or a family crest will be available at an additional charge.
