Jæja vel, it’s been a while since Siggi Eggertsson was a regular on the streets of Reykjavík… but we’re thrilled to be bringing him back for AGI Open this fall! 

Icelandic artist and designer Siggi turns rules into images. He has built a visual language from grids, colour, geometry and repetition, applying it across illustration, typography, album artwork, installations, software, generative systems and digital publishing. He worked with clients such as The New York Times, Apple and Nike, so let’s see what he’s been up to in recent years. Exciting!

Here’s a taste of what we presented to Rockstar Games almost 20 years ago. We recently stumbled upon it by accident. We clearly remember the immense joy and pleasure we had putting the presentation together, belly-laughs and all.

Somehow all this delight did not translate, as the client did not know what this was supposed to be and what it should be used for. And we didn’t have an answer either. We’re still convinced that it would have been amazing though.
