The Art of Self-Promotion, Part 2:
The one where we are on the street, Jan in Rome, Hjalti on a side street across the old office on 6th avenue. “Big hands, small brains” is a classic in our eyes. The yellow and grey 3d suits were in 2009. The little b/w easel is still available. We had high hopes for it to catapult us to the next level, business-wise. Two examples of many that came out of learning to use the liquify tool in Photoshop. 11 years of karlssonwilker invite was in 2011, happened at the ADC on 29th street, fun was had. Took a while to train a cat and a fish to hold still. And then many other things we did to accompany various articles and lectures, trips, things. Important rules we discovered over the years: Different times call for different self-promotion. There is no bad publicity. Marketing is everything, everything is marketing.
