👀 NY Legislation was literally just put into effect that new cosmetology students need to be trained and educated on diverse hair textures - curls, coils, kinks, etc.

Textured hair is being seen.

For natural hair queens, this matters.👑

Crown & Climb was built for this moment —
movement, sweat, humidity, friction, identity.

This is bigger than beauty.
This is belonging.

Can't believe how fast this summer flew by

So grateful for this Dance Queens Fitness Hamptons Beach Day escape last week🌴

Also glad I caught a little doubles moment with Kara 🧚🏼‍♂️ 💕🤸🏾‍♀️

The summer brought new connections, new confidence, and a whole lot of movement. Grateful for the journey, all the women I've met along the way and excited for everything still to come.

This past weekend I vended for the first time at the Caribbean American Family & Community Day! 🇹🇹 😍

I met new queens, made new connections, learned more about Caribbean culture and honestly had a blast 💃🏾💃🏾

I even met Allie who runs her own Caribbean dance company FETENESS® • Caribbean Fitness 🇭🇹🔥 (and the performance at the event was amazing!!)

This was exactly the kind of unexpected connection and energy that makes getting out there so worth it.

Still learning, meeting people, and building 💪🏾

Grateful for this experience and excited to see what happens next 💕

Volunteered with the Rosemary Hart for my 3rd year. 💜

The Women's Center For Personal Development uplifts women through mentorship, education, resources, networking, emotional support and empowerment -- and that mission means a lot to me.

One of my goals for Crown & Climb is to eventually donate a portion of profits to support their work.

I don't just want Crown & Climb to help women feel confident in their curls while they move, sweat, climb and train.

I want it to support women beyond the studio, too.

A woman feeling good in her coils.
Feeling confident in herself.
Investing in herself.

And knowing that the purchase she made is helping another woman access support, resources, mentorship, and opportunities.

That's the kind of company I want to build.

Crown & Climb is still becoming, but the bigger vision is already clear. 🤎
