I will never fit in and I came to terms with this a long time ago, and I will never and I know this and I am cool with it. I always thought something was wrong with me, and always reminded that I should fit in that I was weird. Then it hit me I was never meant to fit in but to be me different, a new kind of strange a wonderful weird I am a limited edition. I am very happy being the square peg that will never fit in and not be a part of anyone's collective. Dr. Seuss was right: why fit in when you were born to stand out Woo-hoo for me and my quirky, imperfect,weird, flawed magical personality.

2019 CALIFORNIA PLUS AMERICA PAGEANT OPEN FOR WOMEN OF THE STATE CALIFORNIA

The California Plus America Pageant embraces beauty, professionalism and volunteerism within plus size women promoting healthy self-esteem and community awareness.

Date: Sunday, April 7, 2019
Time: 1pm
Location: Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort 616 Convention Way, Anaheim, CA 92802
Tickets: $20.00 at door.

Committed to the plus size woman, we believe that all women are beautiful, inside and out and deserve a chance to promote those causes closest to her heart with a title worthy of her representation. The Miss Plus America Pageant System is an 501(C) 4 organization devoted to celebrating the essence of the full-figured woman by providing traditional beauty pageant competition for those women ages 18 and up.

California Director Cher Rue is an actress, writer and producer. Starting out with writing "Dear Cher" she knew she loved helping other people. Being plus size all her life this was where she knew her calling was. Plus size women throughout the state of California are encouraged to experience the pride, sisterhood and wealth of knowledge that the California Plus America and Miss Plus America Pageants provide to each delegate.
