Watching the funeral procession of "The Greatest" Muhammad Ali, and I had 3 thoughts. One is amazing how many people you can touch, when you live to be great. It inspires others to do the same. Live great! Two it's ironic that he's walked to ringside so many times to cheers, chants, flowers, and love. I'm so glad that he gets to go out that way. Finally, what I'm most proud of is that I chose to walk a similar path as someone so great. Even for a short time. I've been in a huge way inspired to stand up to adversity and strife because of him. It's fitting he gets a Gladiator's farewell when it's all said and done.

Very proud to announce the weekend was good for . Dementis Vir Fight Club's own Kedrick "The Hurricane" Harris of Out Fox MMA won the 185 lb title over Mitch Aguiar. The win came by way of KO early in the 2nd rd, after Harris dominated the first with his striking and ground control. "The Hurricane" truly earned his surname as he "moved in" on Aguiar the entire fight. It was obvious the game plan was to put forward pressure on Aguiar and Harris did not disappoint. This win moves Harris to 4-1 with his only loss to the New 205 lb champion Ryan Parker. The next Spartyka card will be attached to the Glory kickboxing card going down July 22, in Norfolk, VA. Out Fox will be back in action. David Collins a world Muay Thai Champ will be in action along with Rickey Lawrence. Also hometown hero Brian "The Lion" Collette and Francois "Bang Bang" Ambang will also be in action.

Been slacking on my DV Fight club posting. Big fight for the Club! Kedrick Harris will be taking on Mitch Aguiar for the 185 lb strap. Harris has been in the lab working extremely hard, and he is very prepared to do battle with Aguiar. Happy Hunting this will be one of the best fights of the year. Spartyka 24 get your tix.
