When I was growing up a lot of people told me I couldn’t like horses, rodeo, take ag courses etc. because I wasn’t a farm kid. I grew up in a small town (pop. 800) in rural North Dakota, my parents were teachers so we were city people. Luckily, my mom had grown up with horses and supported my inherited passion. I am thankful everyday that I stuck with horses, I wonder how many of those farm kids did? So on this Monday, I’m reminding to not give up on your dreams, your passions and the things you enjoy just because 1 person or 100 tells you you don’t belong! You don’t need permission to follow your heart!
