My gal pals and I are out sourcing today! Do I need a list? Probably not. Will I actually stick to it? Absolutely not. But a girl can have a plan!

Nonetheless, these are the goodies I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for. Some are things I need to stage and refresh my booth, while others are simply items I love to find, collect, and sell. The list may be a guideline… but you never know what might catch my eye along the way!.

Old photographs, particularly black-and-white portraits, intrigue me. There’s something about them that feels so timeless. The clothing, hairstyles, and poses seem remarkably sophisticated compared with our current culture.
And black-and-white photography seems to capture something that color sometimes misses—the mood, the character, even a little bit of mystery.
Kudos to some of the great photography I’ve seen out there, particularly Shannon • S.D.Wyatt Photography and an old friend, Kellie Dorey. You both have an incredible eye..

We have some beautiful art in our booth, and I especially love the colors in these French-themed prints. We originally had three, but one has already found a new home!
Most of the art in our booth is original, with a print or two mixed in here and there. There’s always something interesting to discover.

I braved the storms today and made it to the booth to drop off a new piece!

This beauty goes by several different names—Hat Box Dresser, Gentleman’s Chest, and probably a couple more. Whatever you call it, it’s a gorgeous piece of oak with beautiful ornate carving and its original hardware.

And here’s the best part: it comes apart into three pieces, making it much easier to maneuver. Because let’s be honest, beautiful vintage furniture is a lot more appealing when you don’t need a chiropractor afterward!

My husband challenged me to go antiquing and not buy a single thing. Just a looking trip.
Let me tell you… that was HARD! So, instead of filling the car with treasures, I filled my phone with photos.
Here are some of the interesting, quirky, beautiful, and downright tempting things I spotted along the way. Consider it antiquing without the buyer’s remorse—or the full trunk!
