Sooooo we had a meeting at work today talking about the new “eyes-off” AI driving cars coming out in 2028… and honestly, wtf.
General Motors is already rolling out cars that can basically take over on the highway, plus built-in AI that talks to you and learns how you drive. Like… your car is starting to think for you.
I’m gonna be real though. I’m not a huge fan of this kind of technology. Something about it just feels off to me. I don’t know if I’m ready to give up that much control.
But at the same time… you can see where this is going.
AI and technology aren’t slowing down. They’re not going anywhere. If anything, they’re moving faster than ever. What used to be “assistive” is turning into full-on automation in everyday life. We have the pentagon paying $13.4 billion for artificial intelligence in their 2026 fiscal year…. AI cars… Data centers popping up many places, water shortages… But yet people still don’t see the bigger picture, they are still more worried about ChatGPT..
So whether we like it or not, this is the direction things are going. The real question is how we adapt, what we accept, and where we draw the line.
Buckle up… things are about to get very different.
Kinda crazy to watch it all unfold in real time.
GM unveils plans for both eyes-off driving and conversational AI.
