Pet Patrol is 100% volunteer operated - which means that we all dedicate some of our spare time to helping the cats in our care. We're looking for Sanctuary volunteers, Foster homes, and Drivers to help in our operations.

We need drivers to help us shuttle cats from the sanctuary to their veterinary appointments in the mornings and return them in the afternoons. You get to play an essential role in getting kittens and cats spayed, neutered, and on their way to a happy, healthy life.

We need Sanctuary volunteers to help us maintain a healthy home for the cats during their temporary stay with us. You would be responsible for general cleaning, dishes, laundry, and engaging with the cats....and scooping the litter (this job is never done!). Our sanctuary is located outside of the city and is not accessible by public transportation, so your own ride is a must.

We need foster homes desperately. We can only take in cats and kittens if we have somewhere for them to go, and right now we have a waiting list because there just isn't room. The ask for us to take in cats is higher than the rate of adoption, so we have kittens and cats waiting to come into our care.
Foster homes provide a temporary home for cats on their journey to their forever family. You have a room that you can use to allow the cats to adjust and a safe space of their own. You will be responsible for socializing the cats, getting them to vet appointments, taking pictures, and learning all about their personality for their profiles.
