It takes a village… and if you’ve been in sports long enough, you know how true that really is.

Somewhere along the way, what started as teammates and other parents on the sidelines becomes something more.

Car rides filled with extra kids. Homes that are always open. Group texts, shared snacks, last-minute help.

And moms who keep showing up! Again and again for kids that aren’t even their own.

🎉 The fun mom always bringing the party
✔️ The prepared one who has everything you need
😍 The encourager yelling loud for everyone

Just to name to few! Each one playing a part
in something bigger than we even realize in the moment.

While teams may change and seasons come and go the bonds built here never disappear.

In the middle of the busy, it’s easy to forget this village is one of the greatest blessings from our time in sports.

They say we’ll miss this busy beautiful season and maybe this is why it hurts… because it’s not just the games
or the routines we’ll miss. It’s the people who walked through it with us.

So before another busy week takes over pause for a moment and thank God for yours 🤍

“Be still” can feel out of reach in a season that never slows down for us sports moms.

But what if it was never about finding more time and always about how we meet with Him in the time we already have?

Car rides, early mornings, late nights and everything in between. These small, intentional moments can shift everything.

Not because life gets quieter, but because we’re learning to surrender it all to Him. 🤍

One of the biggest challenges for sports families is creating space for Jesus in the middle of busy schedules.

Some seasons feel like there are no days off.
It’s easy to think we’ll make more time for Him when things slow down. But our faith was never meant to only live in quiet seasons.

It can live in the car rides, the early mornings,
the family text thread, and the bedtime prayers.

Sometimes we just need a few simple words to guide us. These prayers are for the moments

It’s more than a story we celebrate. It’s a truth we get to live from every single day.

Because of Easter, we are forgiven. We are made new. And we have a hope that doesn’t depend on outcomes.

So in the middle of whatever season you’re walking through you can remember the greatest victory has already been won.

Every message I receive here means so much to me … but this one felt like a hug from above. Reminding me exactly where YPIP began 🤍

I got a message asking what religion we are before downloading our app. She just wanted to guard her heart and I respect that so much.

But then she shared something deeper that so many of us sports moms feel … the guilt of our athletes missing church because of sports.

I was so grateful she shared her heart with me, because it gave me the opportunity to encourage her with our story.

During my husband’s baseball career, church on Sundays wasn’t an option. But God never stopped showing up.

It was in simple moments just a Bible, short devotionals with teammates, and time spent with other wives that our relationship with Christ began to grow.

We all came from different backgrounds with different stories but were united in His Word and a shared love for the game.

It taught us that church isn’t just a place. It’s making space for Him right where you are.

If you’re in a busy sports season and feeling stretched … you are not alone. Sports doesn’t have to be the distraction. It can be the reason your family spends time in the Bible together 🤍

God sees you. He’s with you. And He meets you in those moments.

Everything I create and share is rooted in the Bible and designed to encourage sports families right where they are.
My prayer is that it helps create the same opportunities that were given to us 🙏🏻

Confidence can fade faster than we expect. One bad game or one mistake. And suddenly our athlete who once believed in themselves starts to question everything.

As moms we see it right away. The overthinking and the pressure they start putting on themselves.

We want to fix it. We try to say the right thing to build them back up. But real confidence isn’t built on performance.

It’s built on truth. On who they are not what they do. And sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is keep reminding them of that until they believe it again.

One of the hardest seasons in sports is when your athlete is doing everything right and still not seeing the results.

They’re showing up. Working hard. Putting in the extra time. And yet … nothing seems to change.

As moms, it’s hard to watch. Because we want their effort to be seen. We want it to pay off. We teach them to work hard and the results will take care of themselves … but the waiting process is hard.

It is also where some of the most important growth happens 💪🏻🙌🏻

Character is being built. Strength is being formed. And faith is being deepened. None of it is wasted. God is doing work beneath the surface that will show up in His perfect timing.

These verses are reminders for them and us to keep our eyes on Him. Those hard times can feel like punishment. But on the other side, you can see it was preparation for so much more.
