The SBE- Small Business Expo was awesome. I’m a first time attendee and I’m certainly happy I was able to make it. Met up with with her natural hair care line that gives you lasting curls for days. I’m the owner and designer at Elesia Kustum Designz. We believe as a small business owner it’s our duty to represent our brand in a manner that is equivalent to what the corporations are able to do. Think billboard. When I go outside I’m my own walking billboard my brand speaks for me. It commands people attention so much that I never have to walk up to anyone to tell them what I do and they almost always notice me and inquire. I call it my way of elimination. With just wearing my brand outside (swag) I get noticed by the people who are interested, so no more wasting my time on the ones that are not. Branding is everything but don’t think because you are a small business owner you can’t be or own a billboard. It’s the unconventional way but it does the same thing. Make your brand speaks for you, be your own walking billboard. I met so many small business owners who were interested in my business branding style.
