Rebranding myself has been very
Liberating. It gave me the opportunity to rediscover why I was so drawn to understanding my intrinsic value and the difference between self value and intrinsic value. So, if you're asking that same question, yes, there is an integral difference and it lies in what is inherently there versus what you put there. See, when I thought of self value it was a question I had to ask myself and discovered through countless attempts at trying to find value in myself and truly never feeling any value for myself. But, as fate would have it, I stumbled upon the word intrinsic value while watching motivational videos on YouTube to feel something from it which usually starts off with me becoming motivated, like JACKED, and ready to conquer anything then immediately dwindling down to depression -- the feeling like I'm not enough creeps back in and my mental condition goes from this high dose of adrenaline to becoming subdued by self guilt and longing despair that I will never be good enough. But from further educating myself on what it means to have intrinsic value, I was encouraged to explore deeper inside of myself so that I could accept my own intrinsic value. Even then, I still couldn't believe that I was valuable
just being myself without doing anything deserving of any value. I would constantly find reasons why I didn't think I deserved any of this new found value that I had discovered about myself. The mere thought of having value without doing anything to gain it was one that I continued to struggle with and it was very confusing at first. Until I began to see the value that I can gain through helping others in their own personal growth. Opening the eyes of countless other lives seeking purpose and the ones that don't value themselves as I once did. I had finally done it -- I found purpose that far exceeded what I was searching for.
