As most of you already know Whitings Cruise night has been canceled for tonight. Honestly i need this day to catch up. So i’ll be crocheting the day away….. Getting ready for the weekend.

Story time….. I had one of these little black cats at my last event. There was a little girl hanging around my table and she really wanted it. She said she was waiting for her dad, who was playing in the band. At the same time, we were told that we could pack up early because a storm might be coming, so I started packing. I told her not to worry, I wouldn’t put it away yet. She kept running back and forth to the stage. But the band was still playing…. Just as we were about to finish packing up, she runs up, excited with a credit card in her hand. I told her that I was so sorry but I couldn’t take credit cards. The look of disappointment broke my heart. So I said don’t worry, you can have the doll. She was just over the moon happy! So long story short, I give dolls away quite often. But only to certain people, mostly kids. I just can’t help it sometimes. 💜

This just in….. Cruise night was canceled due to the storms coming tomorrow. 😢

Due to the inclement weather forecast for tomorrow, the City of Whiting has made the decision to cancel the June 17th Cruise Night.

While we're disappointed to miss this month's event, the safety of our participants, vendors, entertainers, and visitors is our top priority. We appreciate everyone's understanding and support.

We look forward to seeing you next month on July 15th for our Back to School Cruise Night! Join us for classic cars, entertainment, family activities, school supply giveaways, and more as we celebrate another great evening in Downtown Whiting.

Wednsday at cruise night in whiting. Friday at founders square in portage and Saturday at the Pride fest in whiting!

I’m bring out new dolls at every market! Today we’ll be in portage at founders square from 4-9pm and tomorrow we’ll be in Chicago at Ridge park for the uprising market 11-5pm.
