Looking through art I came across Boerne Tx 🩷
I drew this in pencils several years ago. Me and my art will be in the area again soon! Actually in a couple weeks at the Redbud Artisan Market.

It's a nice sunny outdoor artisan market under a pavilion where it's much cooler☺️

I'm getting ready with some holiday sculptures and one of a kind art. So hey, get your walking shoes ready and come see me 😊

I must say, this is my favorite part 🩷 When a collector will share what their original looks like I'm their home. Lisa is more than that. She's a friend I'm so glad to see when I visit Round Rock. And look! Goodness, Ms. Sun Goddess Grace is just perfect in this spot. Shining her rays of sunshine🌞

Isn't that about right 😊 Well, I had an experience in Ruidoso that gave me a new perspective.

When setting up, I was just about finished when I noticed this big honking power strip staring back at me, right in the middle at the top of my booth.

I told my neighbor in the back of me I really don't want it there, it's showing in my booth. He saw me, heard me and ignored me.

So, I went over to where he was and said your power strip isn't showing in your booth at all but it's really obvious in mine. Him and his partner continued setting up and acted like they didn't hear me.

So I said ok it is what it is. So it was up to me to fix this so people wouldn't be distracted by this thing.

With a little maneuvering I figured out I could put my sign right in the middle, hiding the power strip and making my sign more noticeable! Ahhh leave it to an artist eh?

Usually artists are so kind at art shows, but these two just didn't get the memo that it's a choice to be a jerk and they didn't have to.

Most importantly, I found a new way of making my art more visible so maybe that was the point all along eh?

Just goes to show attitude is everything and life is good 🩷

Over in Rudioso I had an interesting conversation with a lady about my art. She was seeing it for the first time🩷

She stood up close to it, staring at the swirls. She said my art was confusing to her and felt like it was messing with her mind.

I told her, can I show you something really cool?

Then ...

I asked her to come stand over here with me. So we went to the front of my booth and just gazed for a moment. Looking at the art again from a different view with different eyes.

She said oh my goodness, I feel so much peace. It's breathtaking. Is it moving?

I told her it's just like life isn't? Most times when we're too close to anything it's confusing and can mess with your mind. When you step back for a minute there is all kinds of beauty you didn't see before. You can see it differently when you stay open to it.

She's at the very beginning 🩷 What you're looking at here is close to 1000 feet of wound fabrics for my new art. She's 30x40in and my vision is set so I thought I'd get winding.
