This week I was thrilled to sample some Vientos, Malabrigo’s newest line of yarn. It is unbelievably soft and silky, with a gentle sheen that makes each piece feel a little extra special ~ a true pleasure to work with! I made my Artemisia Cowl with the new yarn and loved it so much I’ve already started another 😍 Have you tried Vientos yet?!

✨ TESTER CALL ✨

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a few makers to test my newest crochet pattern, the Woodland Reindeer Hat. I’ve been working on this design for many months now and I’m thrilled to share it with you!

The pattern includes 6 sizes (newborn, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, toddler, child, and adult) and is best suited to the advanced beginner.

NOTE: This design requires a specific yarn to achieve the intended texture and structure. Testers MUST use one of two specified yarns (Woolfolk Flette Bulky or Mountain Colors Moguls) held together with your choice of mohair or boucle. I can recommend a place to order yarn, if needed. This is a quick make, but we’ll have a longer testing window so there’s time to source materials.

If you’re interested in testing, please read the requirements below. If you can meet them, comment here or send me a DM noting the size you’d like to test. Testers will be chosen as contacted by Tuesday, November 11th (likely in the evening). Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Thank you!

To test, you must:

💫 Complete the hat and submit detailed feedback by Sunday, November 23rd.
💫 Have a public knitting/crochet focused IG account.
💫 Post one high-quality progress photo and one finished photo to help promote the pattern before release and on launch day.
💫 Use one of the required yarns.
💫 Be comfortable with basic crochet techniques. This pattern is written with the advanced beginner in mind.

Thank you for your interest and support! Again, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions 🥰
