My niece is OBSESSED with Moana and carries her Pua doll everywhere, so her parents asked me to make them Pua and HayHay hats to wear for Halloween! Anyone else working on Halloween costume?!

8 years ago I started a pixel-art granny square blanket. This unfinished blanket has moved to 3 apartments and 2 houses. Last week I FINALLY picked it up again, and WILL finish it! All the squares are made and joined in one direction, I just have to finish joining horizontally! What’s the longest you’ve let a project sit unfinished?!

I never roll my yarn, I just pull from the middle of the skein as I work, but this Zulily deal I saw yesterday has me thinking. Do you roll your yarn, have a ball winder, or just do it the lazy way like me!?

You could wind your yarn by hand, but this simple machine alleviates the effort and lessens the time it takes.
