Thirty-two years later, and we still pick up right where we left off.

The older I get, the more I realize that some of life’s greatest blessings are the people who never make you earn your place in their lives.

The friends who can go months without talking, never keep score, never hold grudges, and somehow pick right back up where you left off.

Life gets busy. Careers, kids, homes, responsibilities… but some connections never fade.

If you’re lucky enough to have one of those people, hold onto them.

A little update from Wohali Designs… 💙

The last year hasn’t looked quite how I planned.

Shortly after starting Wohali, I injured my foot. What I thought would be a quick recovery turned into nearly eight months of appointments before finally having surgery to repair a tear.

At the same time, life kept moving. Work got busy, we sold a house, combined two households into one small space, and started building our new home. These days, Wohali is being created from a tiny corner of that chaos.

While I hoped this first year would be more productive, it’s taught me a lot about patience, resilience, and giving myself grace.

I’m finally on the mend, and I’m excited to see what the next chapter brings.

Every chapter shapes who we’re becoming. 🤍

If you’ve followed Wohali Designs for a while, you know that belief is at the heart of everything I create.

Last month, I married my best friend in a quiet lakeside ceremony surrounded by still water, fresh air, and love that feels like home.

As I begin this new chapter, I’m grateful for every experience that brought me here and for every person who has supported this small business along the way.
