Here is a closer look at the Arizona inspired horse quilt! 💚🐎 This quilt was a lot of fun to work with, as this fabric has a wonderful soft cotton feel. The vibrant sunset orange pairs with the classic turquoise to add a burst of color. Freemotion longarm quilted in a meandering stippling design. A a great addition to southwestern decor.

Happy Independent Bookstore Day! 📖🍓I always enjoy stopping by my local stores, and just browse. recommended this recent read, and it is the best book of the month. It was also a great day for shopping at our local farmers market, and strawberry farm. We love strawberry season!

Today’s .and.whimsy Just One More Page photo challenge is The Best Book of the Month. There is something compelling about the mysteries of the natural world. When it acts in a contrary way than expected it can become uncanny, and horrifying.
