Old Glory Theatre Guild

Old Glory Theatre Guild Established in 2015, the Old Glory Theatre Guild was started by 4 friends in looking to experience the vast theatre scene offered in Philadelphia.

The Old Glory Theatre Guild goes to one play every quarter of the calendar year. Play selection is determined by the group at quarterly meetings. The first play was Book of Mormon and was seen in Q3 of 2015. The OGTG has seen a play every quarter since. The play is meant to be a social event in which the members attend a pre-show rendezvous, typically at a watering hole in close proximity to the t

heater we are attending that day. Afterwards, the gentlemen will reconvene at a different establishment to discuss the play and enjoy some more libations,

The OGTG maintains a strict dress code in which gentlemen are required to wear a suit jacket along with bow ties. Ladies also must maintain the dress code of elbow length gloves or additional garments of equal "classiness". We are currently looking for new members, either male or female, to join. If interested, reach out through FB or email, or contact a member directly.

"As we look for Philadelphia Theatre Company’s next Artistic Director, we are extremely grateful for all that Paige Price has contributed to our community. In her 5-year tenure, Paige has led us with necessary and conscious shifts in our consideration of stories and the people with the privilege and responsibility to share them. We pride ourselves in being Philadelphia’s Theatre Company, and Paige Price has been the staple of our mission to represent Philadelphia for years."
