About the Work:

Arche Preinte is a project by Saumon Oboudiyat, currently a Master of Architecture student at Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan. Inspired by the likes of the Russian Avant-Garde Constructivist movement of the 1920s, Arche Preinte is working to utilize digital modeling and editing software to expand and contract geometric and experimen

tal parameters of the Constructivist art & architecture movement. Arche Preinte is challenging the relatively instantaneous conventions of digital rendering [digital modeling's default representational trope] through the use of a less predictable and gradually maneuvered medium: the linoblock relief print.
