This week we asked YOU, our followers, to send us your wardrobe challenges! A Follower asked us to advise on the best way to organize her closet during her pregnancy, and preparing for postpartum. While this may sound very specific, our solution can be applied to any transitional or seasonal time so read on!
As you find yourself in a transition, we always like to recommend an edit- this doesn't have to be a huge purge, but make room in your closet for new items that you will be needing and get rid of items you know you will not wear again in the future.
After you have made some room, designate a section of your closet for the transitional time- we do this for a lot of our clients and designate a go-to section for each season!
Did you see and her recent post about this? Our fabulous client is a big fan of her seasonal capsule as well, swipe๐๐ฝ to see hers.
Once you have your designated area then you can use this for your current needs and switch out items as you need them.
In the situation for our Follower who is expecting- utilize that space for clothes that fit currently (most likely items you already own and are your go-to), then shop for items that can be worn during pregnancy as well as postpartum. Lastly, make sure you rotate your designated area before it's time to have the baby because there most likely won't be time after ๐ค
Cheers!
