I spent this whole game giving Chris Dudley his flowers… then he stepped to the free throw line 😭😭 Watch till the end to see, his free throw is crazy lol.

Blocking shots, getting putbacks, 17 boards on the screen. I’m becoming a fan in real time.

Petro still cooking, Coleman sending shots back and getting buckets, and Chucky Brown hitting a tough turnaround. This Nets team gave us three parts worth of hoops against the Knicks. These “plumbers” had some game 🙌🏾

Could you live with that free throw form if your big was giving you 18 boards and doing all the dirty work? 😂👇

The “plumbers” Jordan played against 😂 Part 2/3

Petro and Derrick Coleman are STILL cooking, but Chris Dudley started winning me over in this one. 😤

I started this game barely knowing who he was. By the end, I was a fan. Getting buckets, battling on the glass and busting his ass every possession. Watching a whole game gives you an appreciation for dudes you’d never think to look up.

Petro and Coleman’s skill jumps off the screen, but you need guys willing to do what Dudley was doing too. Real hoops. 🔥

Who’s a player you didn’t know much about until you watched them and became a fan? 👇

Follow for Part 3. 🤞🏾

Dražen Petrović and Derrick Coleman need to be in WAY more hoop conversations. 😤

Petro was cooking. The jumper gets talked about, but watch how he gets to his spots, moves without the ball and attacks what the defense gives him. Way ahead of his time.

Then you got Coleman grabbing it and pushing the break, crossing people and stepping out to hit threes. That much skill at his size? Cold. Some of the stuff we celebrate in bigs today was already in his bag.

Chucky Brown getting buckets and Kenny Anderson dropping a dime too. This Nets team had some hoopers, man. Give these dudes their flowers.

This is PART 1 of 3 against the Knicks. Chris Dudley’s work on the glass gets some shine in the next two follow so you don’t miss the rest. 🎥

Who gets overlooked more when we talk about skilled players from this era: Petro or Derrick Coleman? And why do you think their names get left out? 👇

If you’ve been watching this series, you already know these dudes could HOOP. But this 4th quarter?! 😮‍💨🔥

Rod Strickland getting big buckets in crunch time, Clifford Robinson ballin, Chuck making huge plays, and Majerle and Chambers answering when Phoenix needed it. Everybody wanted that moment.

Then the ending gets ridiculous…

Chambers gets the and-1 to put Phoenix up 1 with 3 seconds left. Clifford answers with a jumper to put Portland up 1 with .5. Then Chuck gets the tip-in to win it 🤯

That last play is why you teach guys to stay involved and pursue the ball. The possession ain’t over just because somebody else took the shot.

These are the games and players that deserve their flowers. Too much hoop in this era to keep reducing everybody to “plumbers.” 😂

With .5 left, everybody knows the ball has to go toward the rim. As a defender, are you watching the inbounder or finding a body? 👀

Follow for more of the series 🏀

Rod Strickland getting wherever he wants, Terry Porter cooking, and Majerle reminding y’all he could get up too 😂🔥

The crazy part? EVERYTHING from parts 1 and 2 is from the FIRST QUARTER. This game had so many hoopers that I can barely get through it without stopping. These dudes deserve way more love.

People hear Majerle and think shooter. Hear Porter and barely think about him at all. That’s why I’m doing this series… the film tells you a lot more than the names on a stat sheet.

Who’s a player you saw live that highlights don’t even do justice?

Follow for part 3—we still got a lot of game left 😂🏀

These the “plumbers” y’all keep talking about? 😂

Suns vs. Blazers in ’93 and this game was FIRE. Chuck going to work, Majerle knocking down 3 threes, and Terry Porter hoopin. Porter deserves way more love when we talk about guards from this era. Then Cedric Ceballos and KJ throw down outta nowhere 😭🔥

The more I watch these games, the more guys I see who deserve their flowers. So much skill, feel, and competitiveness across the floor. These dudes could PLAY.

Part 1 of “The Plumbers Jordan Played Against.” We’re breaking this game into parts because there’s too much good hoops to fit in one video. Follow along for more film and ball knowledge 🤝🏀

Who gets overlooked the most when people talk about Jordan’s competition?

10/15/2026

Dan Majerle was a DAWG!! 🔥 8 threes in a playoff game and these weren’t all standstill shots. Sprinting the floor, getting his feet set and letting it fly. Dude could shoot the lights out.

I feel like people remember Thunder Dan’s shooting but don’t give him enough credit for how hard he played. Tough, athletic, competed defensively… he would for sure be solid in today’s game with the spacing and freedom to let more threes go.

When a shooter is getting buckets without holding the ball AND competing on defense, why do we talk about him like he needs a bag to be a problem? 👀

10/14/2026

Nick Van Exel didn’t play in my last Lakers video so I had to give him some shine. Nick was TOUGH 😮‍💨 The handle, the passing, the confidence to pull up… dude was way ahead of his time. Give him today’s spacing and the green light these guards have and he’s a problem.

Young guards, save this and watch how he changes speeds and creates angles. Everybody wants a handle, but what you do with it is what matters.

No Shaq this game and Elden Campbell stepped up with 40 against the Knicks! Elden could really hoop and deserves more credit. Even threw a random lob to Travis Knight 😂 Then you got an older Byron Scott going crazy late. Still had plenty left in the tank.

Real question: how much does WHERE you play affect how people remember you? If Elden wasn’t playing behind Shaq and Nick wasn’t on a team everybody remembers for Shaq and a young Kobe, would we talk about them differently? 👀

10/13/2026

Allan Houston and John Starks could GO 😮‍💨 These ’97 Knicks weren’t just beating people up—they had real hoopers.

Houston especially doesn’t get talked about enough. I vividly remember him being a dawg. That jumper was smooth, he could get to his spots, and he made getting buckets look easy. Then you had Starks bringing that fire and getting buckets right alongside him.

Oakley was knocking down middys too 😂 Pretty smooth jumper for an “unskilled bruiser.” Childs was hoopin—I wish I had more of his clips—and Ewing grabbed 20 boards this game.

When you think of these Knicks, you probably think toughness first. Did that reputation make people overlook how skilled they actually were? 👀
