I got a hankering for some cabbage soup today, and it just so happened I had a lb of Italian sausage just hanging out in the fridge. I’m telling y’all what, this stuff is the bomb!

In large pot,
6 tbsp olive oil.
Sauté 1 cup each chopped carrots and celery with a tsp each of onion and garlic powder.
Chop cabbage.
Boil 6 cups of water with 2 chicken bullion in a separate pot for broth.
Pour broth in pot with cabbage and veggies.
Add 14oz of crushed tomatoes.
Add pepper and more water if needed to cover soup.
Brown 1 lb Italian sausage in pan, add to soup. Bring to a simmer till done, cook on low a while.
