This wedding gown required extensive, detailed work to achieve the bride's perfect fit and vision. The project involved hemming four separate layers of fabric, including the delicate outer lace layer, to ensure a flawless length.

To add functionality and style, a custom bustle was built into the skirt for post-ceremony movement. The original zipper closure was completely transformed into a dramatic corset back. For a seamless finish, the leftover lace from the hem was meticulously repurposed to overlay and detail the new corset back panel.

Custom alterations ensure that every gown fits comfortably and looks breathtaking from every angle.

From the sewing room to the Miss Missouri USA stage.

I recently had the pleasure of giving this stunning pageant dress a custom makeover to ensure it looks flawless under the lights and performs perfectly during competition.

To elevate the overall look and functionality, I opened a custom slit in the skirt for elegant movement on stage. I also added a discreet strap across the upper back to lock the shoulder straps securely in place, giving the contestant total confidence as she walks. To finalize the fit, I hemmed the length to match her stage shoes and added custom bust cups for seamless structure and support.

She is officially ready to compete with a gown tailored exactly to her body and movement needs. Best of luck to this beautiful contestant at Miss Missouri USA.

Prom ready and dance floor approved!

I recently finished working on this stunning prom dress, making sure it fits perfectly and is completely functional for a night of celebrating.

For this project, I added a custom bustle to securely lift the train, keeping the fabric safe and out of the way while moving. I also completed a few small alterations to fine-tune the overall fit and comfort of the gown. She looked absolutely beautiful and is officially ready to hit the dance floor without worrying about tripping over her dress.

Preserving family history through beautiful, wearable memories.

I recently had the incredible honor of transforming a mother's original wedding dress into something completely new for the next generation. By carefully taking apart the heirloom gown, I redesigned and hand-crafted two custom getting-ready robes for her daughters to wear on their own wedding days.

This project allowed the sisters to incorporate a deeply meaningful "something old" into their morning preparations. Every piece of lace, satin, and trim from their mother's dress was given a second life, creating a beautiful connection between past and present celebrations.

Because of the intricate care, precision, and detailed planning required to reconstruct heirloom garments, these custom projects requires approximately an 8 week timeline. Serving those who serve our community.

Occasionally, we get the privilege of working on essential gear for our local first responders.

This bulletproof vest came into the shop to have a new patch securely sewn down. When it comes to safety equipment, every stitch matters. Ensuring the patch is completely flat and secure eliminates any catching or interference while the vest is actively in use on duty.

I recently completed extensive alterations on this beautiful dress to give it a completely personalized look and fit.

First, I opened the slit to create a higher, more defined leg opening for added movement and style. Next, I hemmed the length to match the client's exact height requirement. Finally, I utilized every piece of leftover fabric from the hem to redesign the bodice and craft matching custom shoulder straps.

I just finished working on this incredibly fun, structured short wedding gown. To achieve the perfect fit, I took in the back bodice and carefully adjusted both the top and bottom of the sleeves to ensure they sit exactly right.

And even better is the fact that it has pockets! Short gowns are such a unique choice, and getting the structure and sleeve length balanced is key to making the silhouette pop. After these tailored adjustments, this dress is officially ready for the spotlight.
