I had a great night Tuesday at for 's launch of his new book Dead First. Johnny writes characters you want to get to know - especially the women he writes. His lead character in Dead First is named "Shyla" AND it's set in Texas (San Antonio and Galveston - 2 of my favorite places!) with Texas history, urban legends, ghost stories, and folk tales as plot points so I can't wait to dig into this one!
