Happy Wednesday from Murphy, whose had no problem coming back after the holiday because she’s been on vacation literally since the day she was born. The only difference is now, she has an adorable robe from her Zia ☁️

In case you missed it, yesterday in stories I shared how you can link your phone charm to the handle of your pup’s leash for walks. Our girl is getting so big now, and we are STILL working on her not tugging too much. When I link my charm to the leash, I can be hands-free from the phone to better work with her. This is a pro-tip for my fellow peeps who don’t like to carry a bag unless you HAVE to 🤪 (+ you can link your phone and keys together if you’re out and about!). Never been easier. 😇⁣

Our golden girl! One of my favorite things about Murphy is how she never skips greeting me when I come home from work. It’s so late at night, but as soon as I open the door, she quietly tiptoes down the hallway toward me to say hello. Her head is low, as her nails tap the floor. It’s as if she knows she’s making noise, while my husband is sleeping. It’s our own secret time and I love it. I am constantly reminded of how undeserving we are of a dog’s love. They really are so pure. 🤍 Do you have a dog? What’s your favorite thing about them?⁣

For me, it was nail polish. Every time our dad would take us to the grocery store, I would sneak off to the cosmetics aisle and swindle a Revlon nail polish into the cart. Buried just enough to only be found in the checkout lane, so I wouldn’t get in trouble. I did this at least once a week… that means, on average, my dad spent $200-some on just 𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 a year. That’s the life of a girl dad. And to this day? Still hoarding the nail polish. And the phone charms!! 😜 ⁣

Around here, every day feels like a Monday (!!!), & not in that up ‘n at ‘em way. With a lot of new things being added to the plate, & the state of the world, it can become difficult to stay positive. The only thing moving quickly over here is my caffeine tolerance.
