Our conversation with Hillarie Maddox of Black Girl Country Living originally aired in 2023- but we think this is a great time to share it again! Hillarie ditched city life to live closer to the rhythms of nature and embrace slow living. Now she hosts her own podcast and acts as a guide to help others rewild their lives and tune into nature. Much like in an eco-system, diversity is part of what allows the slow living movement to thrive and we are thrilled to share voices that amplify this.

Hillarie preaches the idea that slow living in a lifestyle anyone can live, and focuses her encouragement specifically on the BIPOC community.
