We’d love to personally invite you to something very different from a typical trip.

This isn’t a vacation — it’s a purpose-driven experience in Malawi and Mozambique that very few people ever get to be part of.

We’re keeping this experience intentionally small and intimate… and at this point, there are only 5 spots remaining.

This is a fully guided journey where everything is thoughtfully curated — so you can be present, connect deeply, and take it all in.

During this experience, you’ll:

• Visit the villages we support through Firmina Foundation and meet the children and families whose lives are being impacted
• Experience real, everyday culture — the food, the music, the community — nothing staged or curated for tourists
• Have custom African clothing designed just for you
• Build meaningful connections with both the local community and the group traveling alongside you

What makes this truly special is that you’re not just observing — you’re participating in something that creates lasting impact.

To share all the details, we’re hosting a private Google Meet where we’ll walk through the full itinerary, what to expect, and how to secure one of the remaining spots.

If you feel called to this experience not just one but two countries , respond to this post and we’ll send you the details.

Join us Saturday, May 16th at 10:00 AM on Google Meet.

You can take a lot of trips in your life… but very few will truly change you.

This is one of them.

Education is one of the most powerful tools we can give the next generation.

The African Fashion Show PDX supports the incredible work of the Firmina Foundation, helping bring education to children in underserved communities across Africa.

Even if you cannot attend the show on April 18th, you can still make an impact.

A small donation can help change a child’s future.

Effie Amonoo is the designer and creative director behind EFFAM, a clothing and accessories brand rooted in individuality, elegance, and purposeful design. Her work celebrates the belief that style is deeply personal—if it speaks to you, then it belongs to you.

Drawing rich inspiration from her Ghanaian heritage, Effie’s designs honor the cultural significance of fabric as a storytelling medium. From the globally recognized kente cloth to traditional prints, batik, and tie-dye, each textile carries history, identity, and meaning. In Ghana, fabric is more than material—it is language, legacy, and connection.

For Effie, this connection is deeply personal. Among her most treasured possessions are authentic, handwoven kente cloths passed down from her grandmother to her mother, and now to her. These pieces are not only heirlooms but symbols of lineage, resilience, and pride.

Through every design, Effie carries that legacy forward—sharing the beauty, depth, and significance of African fashion with the world, one intentional piece at a time.
