The Zero-Waste Dress can be worn three ways. Tie the side ties front, back, or not. The dress is column with wide Kimono-style sleeves. I include a kick-pleat for ease of movement. The perfect white dress.

Oh, hai. It me. I felt nostalgic for my neighbor's driveway. But seriously, I'm workshopping this idea of adding vintage and antique lace collars (and other lace bits and bobs I have in my scrap pile) to thrifted tee shirts. I'm pretty partial to the hyper-oversized tee right now. Once the lace is applied, I remove the tee shirt material from the back so these all have a see-through aspect. All the better to flash a colored bra, which obviously I'm not doing in these photos.

Here's three iterations. Oversized large white tee with antique hand-crocheted lace collar panel. Oversized black tee with vintage machined net lace blocks at front and back. Mid-sized grey tee with another of the antique collars. I don't do much vintage rework, but I'm really liking this.

What do you think? Make them available? Make more?

Clean and simple. Oversized t-shirt is made from vintage linens.

Last two (for now). Big tees - one from a dense, crispy vintage white linen tablecloth with subtle pulled-thread embroidery. The ultimate wardrobe staple, but in this case, one-of-a-kind. The second is made from a vintage embroidered sheer linen panel originally intended for a Guayabera. This is a bit longer with an added cuff detail.

Friends, I've got to pull the option for international shipping off the site for now. Things are just way too complicated for a one-woman business to handle. That being said, I can get a shipping estimate for serious buyers. Just send me a message and we'll try to figure it out.

This dress sold immediately, but I can't resist sharing it. The exquisite vintage textile was sent to me by my bestie and was from a stash she inherited from her mother. This is my Foundation Dress. It's so simple. The details of the heritage handicraft are allowed to tell the story without competition from the design. In this case, embroidered panels connected by net lace. Fast fashion could never.

Pretend you're in a Merchant & Ivory film (only way more comfortable) in vintage linen dresses with hand embroidery and lace details. The Zero Waste Modular Dress has side ties for lots of styling flexibility.

Trousers and tees made from vintage textiles. Two classic pleat-front trousers have been crafted from vintage white linen tablecloths featuring lace and hand-embroidered details. The Big Tee translates reworked materials into an oversized t-shirt including a ribbed knit cotton neckline.

One remaining pair of long shorts from this summer. I won't do more until next year. Hot pink overdyed vintage Quaker lace. The basket ball length short has an elastic waistband with a front pleat and side seam pockets. Finished with a multicolor sport stripe down the side. Size XS.

I updated The Big Tee with an actual ribbed cotton t-shirt neckline and it's so good. I love taking these elaborate vintage linens with all their lace and embroidery and transforming them into contemporary silhouettes with contemporary construction. It's the juxtaposition for me. Friction is where style comes alive.

Anyway! The late summer restock of Tees and Trousers is live. There are six new one-of-a-kind The Big Tees 2.0 made from vintage tablecloths and coverlets. Including the one shown here (swipe) made from a sheer cotton embroidered vintage guayabera panel. There are two of the new trouser style. ✨

White linen trousers for summer? Yes please. But make them one-of-a-kind from a hand-embroidered vintage linen tablecloth.

This classic trouser has a high waist, front zip fly and front pleats, side pockets, back darts, and a swishy wide leg. This pair is crafted from an immaculate vintage linen tablecloth with hand embroidered florals and pulled thread lace in a subtle art nouveau style.

Two pairs from two different textiles coming next in a shirts and pants (or tees and trousers as it were) late summer d r o p. Pants fit around a size 12.
