Made some sick custom dresses this weekend for 2 birthday girls and let the creative flow take me any way the wind blows.
For my 2t I was gifted half a pillowcase a few years ago by the recipients aunt and when I found the patches for the denim torso I knew the pillowcase would make a great patchwork panel. After that I found some matching fabrics and just added a few more panels. I wanted it to stay relatively simple considering the complexity of the pillowcase.
For the 6x I gave birthday girl options for patches and she picked 8 of them. I added a few more denim panels in the skirt itself to make room to add them all then decided why not? And grabbed a bunch of different fabrics that gave the same amount of energy this girly brings.

I'm always hyped when I see my art being worn. But this entrance jacket for brought more enthusiasm than I thought I had. I really pushed my boundaries with this piece. Adding pyramid studs and rhinestones is not for the weak, but the payoff is exceptional. You really are the 💜💜
