I am an avid crocheter and navy wife who began making my own designs in an effort to soothe the creative outlet I had lost upon our latest change of duty station. Before picking up a crochet hook I was a sports/features reporter for a newspaper in California - a job at which I met my husband. I love working with all types of materials, especially brightly-colored wool yarns - and am very specific

of which acrylic I crochet with as well -No Red Heart Super Saver here. I love creating whimsical applique designs and am not afraid to attempt crazy requests or color combinations. I believe in staying true to myself and often stray away from trends. I want Moose Threads to be the place you come to for that item you just can't seem to find.
