How long do you leave your Christmas decor up? I love the twinkle of the lights, and typically keep it up for a couple weeks beyond the holiday! 🎄

Painting is more than just paint and water on paper.. it is a way to tell a story. 🤍

My sister’s Christmas wish was to have me paint her a watercolor to display in their living room. Then, my brother in law suggested something Iowa State themed. She came back and said Iowa State stuff could go in his office, so… they both got what they wanted! 😉

🌼🪷My sister’s watercolor resembles their family. I won’t go into ALL the details, but the 5 flowers represent the 5 in their family - then digs deeper into coloration and count to symbolize each individual.

🏈🏀My brother in law’s showcases our love for Iowa State and his passion of sports (including Jack Trice, Hilton Colosseum, Johnny Orr, and Cy!)

I think it is safe to say they enjoyed receiving them as much as I enjoyed painting them! Let me know if I can create anything special for you! 🥰
