We are truly excited, grateful and PROUD of the O.R. We would like to give a little background on Outdoor Republic. The original founder George Davis, who is an avid outdoor enthusiast, had just come back from a family vacation in the keys. While there, he was doing all the activities we Florida natives and vacationers love to do, such as snorkeling, boating, fi
shing, lobstering, and just soaking up the sun. While he was enjoying these things, he felt he wanted to create a way for his family to show their passion for the outdoors and all it has to offer. He returned home and got busy. It was during the recession so he had plenty of time to start, with ideas of decals, and clothing. It was then that Outdoor Republic was born. Since then, Outdoor Republic has become loved and recognized by many all over the state of Florida. has a following with customers in other states, as well as other countries! It didn't happen overnight, and it was with all the hard work, dedication, support of the family, friends and community! The foundation of what the OR brand was built on had never changed . That was a Christian and family-based company that truly stuck to the love and appreciation of the outdoors. With the Davis Family continually growing, Marin Davis, the previous manager decided to dedicate her time to her family, and being a mommy to her five girls. It was then the opportunity was given to us to purchase this local successful apparel company. We jumped at the opportunity! However, the Davis family has provided continued support and will always be a part of the O. Joe and I both have lived in Punta Gorda, most of our lives. We have raised our children here in Charlotte County. We stay involved in the community in multiple capacities. Joe Saladino has owned and operated his family business, Prompt Towing for over 30 years! We have weathered many storms of mother nature as well as the economy. We have seen Charlotte County grow in so many ways . We love our community! It's a place we are proud to live and call HOME. We truly are fortunate for all that Florida has to offer for the outdoor enthusiast such as ourselves . We are huge advocates for our local and worldwide First Responders. We are proud to be part of the globally recognized motorcycle club "Gunfighters" . The motorcycle club has provided us the opportunity to travel and visit so many amazing places and meet extraordinary people. We look forward to meeting our existing loyal customers, as well as new ones as we pursue expanding the brand all over the world! Please stop in and say Hi, and check out our stores.
