I finished my first top. "Clarke" Technique: All in one facing This simple appearing pattern was more complicated than expected. Based on my measurements I made a pattern size 20 to primarily fit the bust. Also due to my long torso I added 2" to the length so as not to have it be a cropped top. So a capsule wardrobe is about 30 pieces of interchangeable clothing that can be mixed and matched for a whole season. Think "Garanimals" for grownups... not quite but close. Walk into the closet and pretty much everything you pick up can be coordinated with everything else; then accessorized with a touch of color or pattern. The concept is pretty simple either blue or black and white and tan of the following: 5 pants, 7 shirts, 2 dresses, 2 blazers and 1-2 outerwear pieces. ...
