🐐🐸 Workshop Break: Creature Edition

I was supposed to be reorganizing today.
Was. Supposed. To. 👀🤣

But then the yarn started doing things… and suddenly there’s a mini zombie goat and a mini toad taking shape on my workbench. 🧶💚

The workshop still has approximately 847 things that need to be organized, sorted, moved, labeled, and probably exorcised…
…but today?

Today we’re having FUN. 😈✨

🧶 Workshop: still an absolute disaster

Us: tired.
The U-Haul: suspiciously full.
The vinyl: survived.
The guitars: survived.
Our sanity: currently under investigation. 👀

And now we go home to unpack approximately 847 things, remember what day it is, and pretend we know what a “regular schedule” looks like. 😂

🚗✨ Adventure prep day!

Today's mission: pack the last of our gear, pick up the rental car, and get everything loaded up for tomorrow's departure!

The workshop is (mostly) packed, the creatures are ready for the ride, and the next chapter of the Katapillar adventure is about to begin. 🧶🦋

Tomorrow we hit the road for a cross-country journey! Expect travel updates, weird roadside finds, fiber adventures, and maybe even a few new creature inspirations along the way.

What a fun day! 🖤🧶

The neighborhood craft sale is officially wrapped up, and I got to spend the day visiting with neighbors, meeting new faces, and sending a few handmade creatures off to their new homes. ✨

Every event reminds me why I love doing this. It's never just about selling crochet—it's about the conversations, the smiles, and watching someone find the creature that was meant for them.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by today! Now it's time to rest... because my birthday is tomorrow, and our big cross-country adventure is just around the corner. 🚗💜

🖤 Life is a little chaotic right now... and I'm loving every minute of it.

Things with the neighborhood craft/yard sale switched to tomorrow ONLY. SO tomorrow is the neighborhood craft sale, my birthday is just around the corner, and in only a hand full of days I'll be heading out on a cross-country adventure around the United States!

So today is all about packing—not just for tomorrow's sale, but for the biggest trip I've ever taken. Between cleaning, organizing, and making sure the creatures are ready for their own little adventures, there's a lot happening behind the scenes.

It's a busy season, but it's also an exciting one. Thank you for following along on this wild journey. I can't wait to share the creatures I meet, the places I visit, and all the inspiration I collect along the way. 🖤🧶✨

August is going to be The Month of the Year!! Much needed family time!!

The creatures are preparing for their annual migration... approximately 50 feet into the front yard. 😅

Today's mission: untangle displays, pack up the handmade chaos, and convince everyone to behave for this weekend's neighborhood craft & yard sale.

Some of them are excited.
Some of them are plotting.
I have no idea which ones are telling the truth.
