Watch the sunset from the perfect spot on the hill or at the beach. Kick back at the concert from the best seat in the house. Knock out that assignment on the quad or in the dorm room. erything most people will need to relax like never before, but Sluice products can easily be integrated with advanced hammock camping gear. We think everyone can benefit from some quality time in a hammock so we don’t over-complicate things. You can definitely take our gear camping, but you don’t need a merit badge to enjoy it. All you really need is a bit of space and an appetite for happiness. There are no fancy claims or special requirements here; just flat-out, feel-good comfort. We love customer feedback and are constantly making improvements based on your input. We’ve reworked the carrying bags to make setup and pack up easier than ever. We’ve also strategically placed snap fasteners throughout the Sluice lineup so everything sticks together like it was meant to be. Sometimes improving means being different. Our fabrics are different and our mission is different. Everything about the way we do business is different. Quality & Craftsmanship. We could talk about stitches & fabrics all day long, but will resist the temptation here. We should at least mention that our soft laundered nylon fabric doesn’t get sticky like typical parachute hammocks. We also use no-stretch tubular polyester webbing to eliminate tree damage and messy knots. Oh, and two premium climbing carabiners are included with every hammock. What’s With the Name? Sluice Hammocks is inspired by the gold miner’s sluice box, a simple contraption used to separate gold from dirt. The trusty device collects flakes of gold using nothing more than water and gravity. If used properly, it can be very effective. It’s almost magical. We try to live and build with a similar philosophy: let’s hold on to what matters most and create value even when surrounded by piles of distraction.
