More rain?!? Really!?! Before I had children rain was lovely. It meant staying home in sweats and maybe drinking a bit more than I should, because what else is there to do?! Now days rain in the forecast sends me into a spin of finding enough activities to keep everyone busy! I’m jealous of these clients who get to sit in their beautiful living room with the fireplace going watching the rain….I’ll be over here cleaning up play-dough and making snacks every 5 minutes.

2022 was so crazy that it seems like a blur of highs and lows. Worked on some fabulous projects, seemed to have sick kids every other week, and had some amazing Shafer family adventures!! I feel so ready for 2023 and have set some personal and business goals that I know I can make happen, one of being making more time to cook for my family! I love cooking, but life gets busy sometimes and we forget to make time for the things we love. Wish I was cooking in this clients beautiful kitchen! Wishing you all a healthy and safe 2023!!

Balanced some masculine design elements with some softer art in this beauty of a bathroom. It’s all in the balance and I love using floral art in spaces….probably because my husband is completely anti-floral and won’t let me have anything floral in my house. Not sure why I let him have an opinion, actually!

Is it the weekend yet? This week has been so so busy, but also so so productive. Saturday will be the first day in MONTHS that we don’t have any plans and although I like to dream of sleeping in on a cozy bed like this, I will actually have kids watching cartoons in my bed before 6 AM….but that’s OK. That’s how we roll!
