Da, da, da, dah!! I've officially broke past my goal of 12 books this year and passed my number from last year with 5 days to spare...Could I read another before the end of the year? I'm sure gonna try.

It feels good to have some time for me and to re-evaluate my time doing things that I've missed for a long time. I've needed this hobby back in my life. I had forgotten how much I enjoy reading.

Lazy dayz= reading. I had a wonderfully lazy day with a pretty quiet house. I read the day away. My November school book club book is done. I will hit this goal of mine, yes, I will!! Last year I missed by 2 books.

The Beginning of Everything was a decent read. A feel good story, a bit slow moving for my taste, but all in all, good story line and the ending was wrapped up great.

The last 3 weeks have been a little more lively around my place. Archie is sure a blessing after Harley passed in July. He is a mini goldendoodle.

Not gonna lie, I've called him Har or Harley a few times on accident. Habits are hard to break. Especially after 16 years of calling that name.

Book 9 of 12 in month 7 of the year. If you're a baseball nut. This is a good young adult novel to read or suggest to the youngster you have in mind. It does have some real life issues for those kids to deal with. I was considering to teach in 8th grade, but I think 7th would be good also. It has a few good themes throughout the book as well.

I struggled to ready it since I'm not a big baseball gal and it was really baseball focused. I felt it would have a good plot twist and that it did.

I'm happy to be ahead of my pace and goal for this year. I challenged myself to read 12 books in 2022 and so far I'm crushing it.
