Three generations. One dress.

This 1976 wedding gown has now been part of a grandmother’s, mother’s, and daughter’s love story ❤️ and getting to rework it into the sweetest getting ready robe and slip made this piece even more special.

Her grandmother walked down the aisle in it. Then her mother. And now it’s her turn to carry on the tradition in a way that feels completely her. The most beautiful mix of vintage history and new beginnings.

Watching clients grow up is one thing… watching them become a bride is something completely different. From prom fittings, to bridesmaids dresses, to finally fitting her wedding gown… getting to watch this sweet girl grow into such a beautiful woman has been so special.

This bride’s gown journey was anything but easy…delays, wrong dress issues, and when it finally arrived… it was way too big with only 4 days until the wedding.

A few late nights and a lot of alterations magic later, she walked out with the dress she deserved.

This one really hits different 🤍

I’ve had the honor of altering her prom dresses, working side by side with her at the dress store, altering both of her sister’s bridal gowns and now, here she is… walking into her own forever.
Being trusted with moments like these, year after year and milestone after milestone, is something I never take lightly. It’s more than hems and seams its memories, growth, and watching a girl become a bride.
