This evening Judy Dorrell and Jan Washer Frasier attended the LOOM meeting for the Elkhorn Moose Lodge. Thru the masks we made we were able to donate $310 as their portion. This was only possible thru the people who purchased our handmade masks and thru the people who donated supplies. We donated through out our community as many masks as we sold. And we thank everyone for their participation and wish you all a safe and happy Christmas and New Year. οΏΌ

Sewing up masks, with the last of my elastic, tonight. I’ll post pics of the completed ones this evening. (More elastic to arrive Wednesdays mail.)

I have to admit the need for these masks took me by surprise. What started as making a few for family and friends has turned into a full time adventure. I’d estimate I’ve made about 250 masks. I’ve sold quite a few. As well as donating many to some who needed them.

Thank you to all my friends who have helped me with material and elastic donations. (I thought I was going to use up all my quilting cotton fabric. Lol. )

And to the midnight gremlins who wake me up at 2am, so I come downstairs to sew more - your time is limited - just like this virus. πŸ˜†
