Looking for some general input - While I was visiting my mother in law at her independent living “apartment” I saw a couple older gentleman who were wearing some very sad looking old hats and I had a thought. What if I could get hats donated, I’d clean them up, shape and overall spruce up and then take them to the various “locations” and let them pick one for free. I thought of calling it something like “New Feathers for Fedoras” even though it could be any hat type. Start local and maybe expand it to a larger volunteer opportunity over time. I just don’t know how to get donations. My desire is to devlop it as a ministry effort to these often forgotten gentlemen. I’m open to all suggestions, ideas and thoughts. Thanks
